Project Tight/untight measurements on a liner for a hot water basin
Location 2013 - Dronninglund, Denmark
Description

Energy at a solar collector plant is stored in a large hot-water basin. An HDPE liner was installed, which TEXPLOR tested for permeability using the EFT®/MSS® technology.

We used a watered fleece in order to investigate the slopes, with our sensors on the plain surface of the bottom. The whole liner, approx. 10,000 m² in area, was tested and the water-tightness certified.
